How to access the Blog settings
While within the Blog, click on the three-dotted menu icon in the top right-hand corner then select Settings.
General
Title - Your entered title will appear at the top of the Sidebar section. This is also used for the SEO Title of the main blog page.
Description - Your entered description will appear below the Title within the Sidebar section. This is also used for the SEO Meta Description of the main blog page.
Timezone - This indicates which Timezone the Time Format is based on. To change this out, please visit Account Settings.
Date Format - Select from a variety of date formats that you can enable to appear on each post.
Time Format - Select from a variety of time formats that you can enable to appear on each post.
Included Blog Post From ... - Enabling this option will display posts from your partnership/parent account. For example, if you are an IIN Alumni/Student, you can receive blog posts curated by IIN's team on a monthly basis.
Post Details
Show Author Image - Enables an image next to the Author name. Note, under Manage Profile, you can upload an image.
Show Author Name - Enables the Author name to appear above the blog post title. Note, under Manage Profile, you can change your Display Name to change how this appears.
Show Post Date - Enable the publish date above the author's name. The format of the date/time is controlled under the General tab.
Show PermaLink - Enables a PermaLink at the bottom of each blog post. Note, this is a full link to the blog page to easily share.
Show Source - Enables a source link to appear right below the PermaLink if one is added.
Show Tags - Enables tags to appear at the bottom of the post if one is added.
Show Comment Count - Displays how many comments visitors have left
Show Social Buttons - Enables social media icons to appear at the bottom of the post.
Commenting
Comment Section Header - Adjust the header text for the commenting section of every post.
Blog-wide Comment Moderation - Enables blog moderation for all blog comments.
Disable Commenting - Removes the commenting section from every blog post.
Sidebar
Show Image - Enables your upload image to appear within the Sidebar section.
Show Name - Enables the Title added under the General tab to appear within the Sidebar section
Show Description - Enables the Blog Description added under the General tab to appear within the Sidebar section
Show Archive - Enables the list of Years and Months to organize your post within the Sidebar section.
Show Tag Cloud - Enables a list of your Tags to appear within the Sidebar section. This is a great way for visitors to easily access more posts relevant to their interests.
Show Custom - Enables the option to enter custom content, such as text, that will appear below the Tag Cloud content.
Social
Set which Social media icons you wish to display. These icons will appear near the bottom of all of your posts. If you are active on Twitter, you can enable the option to auto-post new blogs to your Twitter account.
Layout
Adjust between available layouts for your main blog page.
- The Items Per Page option will set the default number of blog posts to appear on your main blog page.
- The Infinite Scroll option will remove the pagination at the bottom of the blog page and continuously load additional posts as you scroll down.
