When you visit a website, your browser will store bits of data (images, text, styling, etc) about it on your browser. This helps improve the overall load times of the website the next time you visit it. This is known as browser caching and can sometimes prevent new changes from appearing.

For example, if you swapped out a background image in a content area and it does not appear after refreshing your page, it's due to browser cache. If you notice this happening, please try clearing your cache by following the guides below:

  • On most desktop browsers, you can also clear the cache of the page you are viewing by holding down the Shift key on your keyboard and then clicking the Refresh icon within your browser.
