To add a background image:
1. Click the edit icon on the desired area or region
2. Click 'Add Background Image'
3. Select your desired image from your File Manager, the LiveEdit Content Manager library, or upload a new image.
5. When ready, click 'Accept'.
6. Adjust any additional settings for your background image:
Image Repeat: Options for having your image repeat as your background
None: image will remain at normal size
Horizontal: image will repeat from left to right
Vertical: image will repeat from top to bottom
Tile: image will repeat in a tile pattern, filling the screen
Image Size: Options for the sizing of your background image
Auto: image maintains original height and width
Length: image width is set based on image length
Cover: image will be scaled to ensure the background area is completely covered regardless of screen size
Contain: image will be scaled to the largest possible size that allow both height and width to fit within the content area
Image Scroll: Options for image scroll within the website
None: No setting is applied
Scroll: image scrolls along with screen
Fixed: image stays fixed as screen scrolls (*Note: this settings is not recommended for mobile devices)
Local: image will scroll along with area contents (similar to Scroll)
Initial: default settings
Image Position: Options for setting the position of the image
Background Overlay: Apply a color overlay to your background image
7. When finished, click ‘Save’ to apply all settings.
To change an existing background image
1. Click the edit icon on the desired area or region
2. Click on the existing image
3. Select your desired image from your File Manager, the LiveEdit Content Manager, or upload a new image.
4. Adjust your image size if need be. Click ‘Accept’ when ready.
5. Make any changes to your image settings.
6. Click ‘Save’ to apply changes
To remove a background image
1. Click the edit icon on the desired area or region
2. Click the ‘Remove’ button.
*Tip: If no background image is displayed, type ‘none’ in the URL field to force removal of the background image. Most often associated with the ‘default’ images provided with LiveEdit templates.
3. Click ‘Save’ to apply your changes. Once saved, you will see the icon for your area turn to green to indicate that your changes have been applied.
Please Note: If a recently added background image is not appearing right away, please try clearing your Browser's Cache.
