The Map Content Element embeds an interactive Google Map or Bing Map on your page.

Enter the address for the location you want to place a map to.

If the map information for your location or business is inaccurate, you will need to contact Google or Bing to have it updated. Click here to learn how to update a location in a Goole Map, or here to edit your information in Bing.

Container Settings

  • Display:  This pull-down menu determines whether the Content Element will be displayed on mobile browsers.
    • All Devices: Display this content on all versions of the website.
    • Full Version: Do NOT display this content on mobile versions of the website.
    • Mobile Version: ONLY display this content on mobile versions of the website.
  • Align: Align this content left, center, or right inside its containing Content Area.
  • Class: Assign a CSS class to this Content Element, allowing you advanced control over how it is displayed.
  • Title: The title, more commonly known as a tool tip, is text that appears when you hover over this Content Element. You can place instructions or other helpful content in this field.
  • Cache for: To speed the time in which it takes your website to load, some Content Elements can be cached. This means the server that stores your website will keep a copy of the content for a set amount of time before it checks for changes.

Map Settings

  • Map Type: Choose between the Google or Bing map services.
  • Height: The first time you place a Map Element, this field will default to 100%, which will fill the content area you are using. If you move the Map Element to another location, the map will resize itself based on the percent given.
  • Height: You can specify the height of your Map Element.  If no height is given, it will be proportionate to the width given, on a 4 by 3 ratio.
