A URL Shortener is a tool used to reduce the total length of a website URL. This makes the URL easier to share with potential customers.
To shorten a URL using the built-in URL Shortener, follow these steps:
- Log in to your site
- Navigate to your Dashboard
- Click on the URL Shortener App
- Type or paste in the URL you wish to shorten and click Shorten URL when ready.
- Once the shorten button is clicked you will be presented with the following. Clicking copy link will save this to your computer's clipboard for use where needed. Click done to finish and close this window.
On the lower portion of this page, you will see a history of all shortened URLs.
