To set up a link that automatically starts a new email can be a useful tool to prompt visitors to your site to reach out to contact you.  And it’s really easy to set up too, here’s how:

Set up your link like you normally would.

In the URL box, instead of a website destination, you want to add in a prompt to compose an email.  You do this by entering ‘mailto:’ followed by the email address you want the composed email to be sent to.  Example: mailto:myemail@mybusiness.com 

When a visitor to your site clicks the link, a new email will be started using their default email program, and will automatically be addressed to the email address you provided.
